Very simply put, a 'Data Story' is a dashboard or a report. It is a collection of charts, graphs and tables that tell you the story of a specific data set. They are designed to let you explore and analyze your data in-depth and make informed decisions.

Data stories help you present and share analysis reports with your team. For example, you can have a Data Story that displays all your website visits in real-time or one that displays statistics about your daily sales and profit.

Data stories bring all of your key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics together in one place so you can monitor them all at a glance. With data stories, you can do an in-depth analysis, create reports, share reports and drill down further.
