Now that we've learnt how to create an i360 report, let's take a look at some i360 report features...
Time Series Analysis and Dimensional Analysis
The specialty of an i360 report is the in-depth analysis done on a particular piece of information. This in-depth analysis is broadly divided into two major types– Time Series Analysis and Dimensional Analysis.
Time Series Analysis
In time series analysis, INSIA categorizes and filters the data based on various time frames.
For example, if you were to generate an i360 report on the Spend in IT, the report would do a time series analysis on the Spend metric and display the following charts:
Spend by Country in IT by year
Spend by cost center in IT by year
Spend by primary delivery location in IT by year
Spend in IT by year
Spend in IT by quarter
Spend in IT by month
Dimensional analysis
In dimensional analysis, INSIA generates the report by categorizing the metric with various dimensions.
For example, if you were to generate an i360 report on the Spend in IT, the report would you do a dimensional analysis and display the following charts:
Spend by vendor in IT
Spend by country in IT
Spend by purchase method in IT
Spend by vendor pay term in IT
Feedback Loop
The feedback loop feature sorts & filters the charts and data insights produced by an i360 report to make the platform more interactive for you. Let’s see how it works.
In an i360 report, all charts are accompanied by the “Thumbs up” and “Thumbs down” symbols.
The “Thumbs up” symbol indicates the user likes that particular data chart analysis and would want to see similar analysis charts because they find it relevant.
The “Thumbs down” feature indicates that the user finds the data chart irrelevant.
By clicking either of these buttons, the platform learns the degree of relevance and presents the information accordingly. You can click on either the thumbs up or thumbs down button to fine-tune the recommended information by the platform.
