Table Charts in INSIA enable users to view and explore detailed data in a clear tabular format. They support easy comparisons and drill-downs from summary to granular insights—without any technical effort.

When to Use Table Charts

Use Table Charts when you want to:

  • Review detailed data with exact values

  • Compare performance across dimensions such as time, region, or category

  • Highlight exceptions, high values, or low values

  • Drill down into data for deeper analysis

  • Share structured data with stakeholders


Creating a Table Chart

Steps:

  1. Go to the Search Bar

  2. Type the required metrics and dimensions

  3. Select Table Chart from the suggested chart types

INSIA automatically structures the data into a clean, easy-to-read table.


Downloading Table Data

Once the table is created, you can export the data using built-in options:

  • CSV – for raw data sharing

  • Excel – for offline analysis

  • Print – for reports and reviews

These options ensure data can be shared beyond the INSIA platform.


Formatting Table Charts

INSIA allows you to format table columns to highlight key values.

Steps:

  1. Right-click on the table

  2. Select Format

  3. Choose the column to format

  4. Apply conditions such as:

    • Less than

    • Greater than

    • Equal to

    • Between / Not between

  5. Customize font size and color (solid or gradient)

  6. Save the formatting

This helps decision-makers quickly spot trends and exceptions.


Creating a Pivot Table

Pivot tables can be created instantly from the same table.

Steps:

  1. Use the Search Bar to add required metrics and dimensions

  2. Enable the Pivot Table toggle

  3. Drag and drop fields into Rows and Values

No manual setup or complex configuration is required.


Drill-Down & Data Exploration

INSIA supports multi-level drill-down within pivot tables:

  • Click on a parent dimension to view sub-levels

  • Expand categories to see time-based or detailed data

  • Move smoothly from high-level summaries to transaction-level insights

This makes data exploration intuitive and fast.
