When to Use Style Settings

Use Style Settings when you want to:

  • Improve chart readability for leadership reviews

  • Highlight targets, gaps, or critical values

  • Maintain consistent visual standards across dashboards

  • Prepare charts for presentations or reports


How to Use Style Settings

  1. Go to the Search Bar and select Sales as the metric and South as the dimension.

  2. Click Change Chart and select Basic Tile with Target (recommended by INSIA).

  3. Open Chart Settings and click on Style Settings.

  4. Select the chart element you want to format, such as title, value, or target.

  5. Apply formatting options:

    • Change font color and fill color

    • Use bold, italic, or underline

    • Adjust alignment (left, center, right)

    • Modify font size

  6. Enable Apply to All to apply the same styling across the chart.

With Style Settings, charts become visually consistent, easier to interpret, and ready for business presentations—helping decision-makers focus on insights instead of formatting.
