When to Use Configure X & Y Axis

Use this feature when you want to:

  • Compare multiple metrics or time periods in a single chart

  • Switch between different comparison views such as current, previous, absolute, or percentage change

  • Rename axis labels to match business language

  • Improve chart readability for presentations and reviews

  • Share clean, decision-ready visuals with stakeholders


How to Configure X & Y Axis in INSIA

  1. Use the Search Bar to enter the required time comparison, business metric, and dimension.

  2. From the suggested chart types, select the Multiple Axis Chart.

  3. Go to Chart Settings and click on Configure Axis.

  4. Open the Y-Axis dropdown and choose the required Comparison Metric.

  5. Update the X and Y Axis label names to reflect your business terminology.

  6. Adjust the font size for better visibility.

  7. Select any X-Axis label and rename it using the New Axis Label option.

  8. Download the chart as Excel, CSV, or Print, or share it directly with your team.
